Web Hosting Upgrade

For many years, the public face of this website was a "splash" image. There was no visible content or any visible proof that this site was used for much. Really, it wasn't. But there were a collection of dropboxes I used for sharing data, and some tools I used for collaborating with others. And for about a decade, that stuff all ran on a "webmaster" account at pair.com.

I'm actively working on building up my website content, and making more of my projects available to the world. In order to give me the flexibility and control that I need over my hosting platform, I've switched to Linode. With a Linode configuration, I have the ability to configure and utilize whatever software and solutions that I'd like. Sure, there's a lot of room to do interesting things with the typical shared hosting account. But now I've got complete flexibility to experiment with all the tools and techniques that I could ever want.

If you're in the market for virtualized Linux hosting, you owe it to yourself to check out Linode. If you do decide that you want to set up your own Linode account, and you'd like to pay-it-forward, feel free to use my referral code when you sign up.

My referral code is: c1ca33536881d95cf0bdfb79ce359035a1ffe5ab
